The WeetBix, cookies and cream combination we didn't know we needed

Remember when we saw strange food combinations in 2021?

Like the whole "Piers Morgan tries the infamous Weetabix and baked beans combination" saga?

The controversial journalist tried the infamous combination after a number of popular brands from around the world weighed in on Weetabix’s bizarre serving suggestion.

This new one is less controversial, but it wasn't one that we expected - but one we didn't know we needed!

Miranda, @clean_treats, shared this strangely intriguing combination and it has gone viral online.

Here's the recipe (posted on her Instagram), give it a try and let us know how it goes:

Base:

• 2 weetbix, crushed (or GF weetbix)
• 125ml almond milk or boiling water
• 1 tbs sweetener (maple syrup or natvia)
• 5g sugar free drinking chocolate, optional

• 160g vanilla @yoproau (or coconut yoghurt)
• 15g vanilla protein - vanilla buttercream (discount: amb-Miranda)

Ganache:

• 10g chocolate, melted - I used white vitawerx
• 1 tbs almond milk

1. Crush weetbix in a bowl and mix in the almond milk, sweetener and choc powder.
2. In a seperate bowl, mix together yoghurt and protein powder. Spread over the weetbix.
3. Mix melted choc and almond milk together and spread over the top of the yoghurt.
4. Option to sprinkle over the crushed oreo or mix it through the yoghurt at step 2 (or both).
5. Place in the fridge for minimum 1 hour or overnight
