We all know that feeling when the loadshedding hits and you find yourself dreaming about a generator.
Just like electricity, food, a roof over our head, many are not privileged enough to have some of the things we just accept as part of our daily lives.

Niah Selway, 23, has an allergic reaction whenever any part of her skin comes into contact with water.

She's been using social media as a platform to spread awareness of the condition, answer curious users' questions and raise funds for her treatment.
In one video she answers one of the most frequently asked questions, which obviously is "how do you take a bath/shower?"

According to Niah, she has to take her blood pressure and temperature before she takes a shower and she has anywhere between five to 10 minutes before the pain begins.
She describes the sensation as a burning underneath the skin and she sometimes takes painkillers and other medication when she is having an exceptionally bad flare-up.

The burning also doesn't subside as soon as she dries off after a shower or bath.
Niah says that the pain can last up to three hours after the water comes into contact with her skin and she has to lie on her bed, writhing in pain.

Unfortunately, while many people have shown her a lot of love and offered their support, many don't believe her story and have accused her of trying to scam people:
She has raised almost enough money for another round of treatment through her GoFundMe page.
Hopefully, Niah will be able to receive the treatment she needs and enjoy many pain-free showers in the future.
Speaking of showers, just the other day Stacey and J Sbu discovered something very strange about Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's shower habits.
