WATCH: Video emerges of Menzi Ngubane calling out ex 'Generations' boss

The South African TV industry and fans are still mourning the loss of veteran actor, Menzi Ngubane.

Ngubane passed away on Saturday and is survived by his wife and two children.

Following the passing of Ngubane, his family released the following statement to the media: 

Another person adding his voice to the streams of condolences has been Mfundi Vundla, who is the long-time producer of 'Generations'. Vundla's words of comfort to the Ngubane family were met with some backlash from social media users. 

Mfundi and Menzi worked together for more than a decade on several productions, including 'Generations' and the film, 'How To Steal 2 Million'. 

The following video was taken at a protest by a group of 'Generations' actors a few years ago. In the video, Ngubane shares in detail the lack of support from 'Generations' and Vundla when he was going through medical difficulties.

Back in 2004, Ngubane was diagnosed with kidney failure and was on the list for a kidney transplant. During the time, there was a lot going on in his life, and he had to juggle it all.

In the video, Menzi shares that after he was discharged from hospital after spending seven weeks there, the following day he received a call sheet to go back to work by 'Generations'.
