WATCH: "Underage" snake captures attention along the uMhlanga promenade

It's snake season and we have animals slithering all over KZN.
Snakes have been on a rampage lately and one of our listeners captured a seemingly harmless snake in action on the promenade.
The snake was playing hide and seek as locals went about their business - sneaky!
"The serpent hides under the ledge and pounces when you least expect it," says the listener.

Imagine taking a leisurely stroll with your dog and the snake strikes, or even worse, imagine taking a seat and the snake "booty bounces" on you.
This is Stacey's worst nightmare.

It's not the first time we have seen some wild things on the uMhlanga promenade but this is undoubtedly a sneaky striker.
