This is definitely "not something you see every day"...
We know what you're thinking...
It sounds like a bit of 'ostrich', but thank goodness this South African was able to capture it.

This extraordinary experience was straight out of a movie scene.
In the video above, an ostrich is seen running amok in the streets in broad daylight. A dog is later seen chasing after this speedy creature.

As mentioned by Joe in the podcast above, after his surf on the West Coast, he was totally shocked to see this cat and mouse chase.
Joe mentions: "I heard this loud and rapid slapping on the tarmac, I'm like 'what on earth is that', and as I look up I see this ostrich running towards me."

At first sight, he believed this animal was "coming for him", but after he "clocked the dog" he realised what was actually going on.
I quickly whip out my phone camera, start recording and get it just in time as it runs past me. It was definitely a spectacle and a half.- Joe Ottiger
He further adds that shortly after the animals passed, a very worried dog-owner came chasing after her pet. Joe pointed her in the right direction and eventually the dog came strolling back.
Joe is right about one thing, people only believe you when you have a video.
