It shouldn't matter what anyone else has to say about your wedding because it is supposed to be the happiest day of YOUR life.
But living in the public eye or becoming famous can open you up to public scrutiny and criticism from people you don't even know, and who definitely don't know you.

Arielle Fodor is a super popular TikToker and she recently got married to her boyfriend of two years, Aarun.
The couple met in 2018 after they matched on the dating app Bumble and after Arielle swiped past him a few times because she just assumed he was a bot.

Finally, the two started dating and in August 2020, Aarun proposed and, of course, she said yes, so a date was set.
Because of their different cultures, they had to have two wedding ceremonies, one Western and one traditional Indian ceremony.
They decided to have the two ceremonies right after each other instead of waiting and so the mission for the perfect wedding dress began.

Arielle had to find not one but two perfect outfits for the big day. Talk about stress.
Luckily, Arielle had luck on her side as she fell in love with the first Western dress she tried on and her future mother-in-law and sister-in-law assisted her with finding the perfect lehenga.

An lehenga is a traditional two-piece worn by brides during their weddings and they are traditionally red, although many brides are opting for more multicoloured lehengas these days.
Arielle went for traditional red and she told Insider that she felt more like a princess in her lehenga than she did in her other gown.
When I was in my Indian dress, I really felt like a princess. I felt beautiful, but I also felt really comfortable. I didn't feel like there was anything I couldn't do.- Arielle

The couple didn't want to see each other in their outfits before the ceremonies so they were both overwhelmed with emotions when they saw each other for the first time.
He was really excited to see me. He was like, 'Wow, you look amazing'. He was really sweet and supportive.- Arielle

Arielle also has some much-needed and super important advice for any brides, and grooms, to-be:
Make sure that you are trying things on thinking about what feels good to you, because when it comes to the day of your wedding, you might not be thinking about other people as much as you are when you're trying your dress on and trying to please others. What's going to be really important is feeling good and feeling like yourself and feeling beautiful on your day. After your wedding, you're going to want to look back on it thinking, 'Wow, I felt good,' rather than thinking, 'I wasn't as comfortable as I could've been.'- Arielle
She also posted a video on TikTok showing some footage from their wedding day:

Arielle became popular on TikTok when she started posting videos poking fun at what it's like to be a kindergarten teacher and is known on the app as Mrs. Frazzled:
