Halloween is creeping closer and if you are looking to celebrate the scariest night of the year by watching a bunch of horror movies then we've got the list for you!
GIGACalculator.com, an online calculator website, with the help of science, has revealed what movie is the scariest movie of all time!

How could one determine the title of the world's scariest movie?
Well, they asked 150 volunteers to watch a selection of the most renowned horror films for the first time while wearing heart monitors and this would determine the ultimate fright fest.

The films that were lined up were determined by a group of 2,542 horror movie enthusiasts who took a survey to confirm which movies would make up the Top 10.
After the volunteers watched the top 10 it was determined that the Gabriel Byrne psychological horror film 'Hereditary' is the scariest movie of all time with the volunteers' heart rate pulsing at an average of 115 beats per minute (BPM).

A human's average resting heart rate is between 60 - 100 BPM.
The movie 'Hereditary' follows the story of a grieving family who are haunted by a mysterious presence following the death of their secretive grandmother.
