As South Africans, there is one thing we truly understand: electricity struggles.

We are no strangers to having to figure out new and exciting ways to get through the dark days when Eskom decides to throw a lovely little load shedding surprise our way.
But as it turns out, we are not the only ones who have had to put together DIY light contraptions or think of innovative lighting structures.

A recent video started circulating on the Chinese version of Twitter, Weibo, of a student who fixed a lightbulb in a very interesting manner in order to help her see while she was studying.
While the rest of the internet thought this was hilarious, most South Africans saw this video and thought "relatable content".

The unnamed woman is clutching some notes and she was having some trouble reading so she asked her friend for a fluorescent light and used one of her body parts to keep it in place while she tried to study.
You won't believe us when we tell you so just watch it in action for yourself:
According to Sina News, it was necessary for the girl to work hard because she was studying for the country's annual Unified National Graduate Entrance Examination, a qualifying exam for the country's Master's programmes.
