It's dinner time, but who knew that a python would be a party crasher...

One thing is for sure, this snake's entrance was memorable...
A fine dining experience with a snake, but this time he was not an invited guest or on the menu.

Taking up a whole three seats, this unexpected guest definitely made himself at home.
The video posted to Facebook by Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers shows footage of the slimy serpent being captured from the dinner table and returned to its habitat by Stuart McKenzie, who is part of a 24/7 response team.
Stuart came out in response to a house call around midnight, after the homeowner, who was trying not to wake up his family, spotted the snake cruising around the dining room.
Upon Stuart's arrival, he found the snake entangled between the dining room chairs.
The wife is heard peeping at the situation in shock as she could not believe what she was seeing.
Stuart then moves the snake into a capturing bag and returns it outside.

“Just shows to keep your doors shut, or else snakes might sneak in,” Stuart said, as he released the python back into the bush.
It's not uncommon to have snakes entering households, but what is uncommon is for them to lounge so casually in the dining room.
Normally they opt to hide in a cupboard or sneaky spot.

This sneaky snake did not get away with its antics thanks to the snake catching team.
Next time when you go downstairs for a late night snack, be careful of the creature creeping around.
