Brazil's Rio De Janeiro is visited by two million people each year. This particular statue is a note-worthy tourist attraction that is a must-see in the area.
Shockingly, this is the third time in 15 years that the landmark has been struck. However, it is still regarded as a rare occurrence.
The bolt struck the head of the religious figure on February 10, illuminating it with a flash that has now been seen by millions across the globe.
