WATCH: Nicki Minaj freaks out as son says first words during Instagram recording

A baby uttering its first words is one of the most important moments of not only the baby's life, but of the parents as well.

Some parents are not lucky enough to witness those first moments. Even now given the strict lockdown, there are many family members and kids who have only seen each other through screens.

Either way, there are a few words that you hope your kids NEVER learn and there are, of course, the few words that you are gunning for to be first.

If you are mommy or daddy, that is surely the one you are hoping to hear first and you are sure to start sounding it out to your little one as soon as possible.

Some parents have had to make peace with the fact that their baby's first word was something completely inappropriate or even worse, someone else's name.

But it's not very often that we get to witness a celeb baby's firsts.

Seeing as celebs usually want to protect their kiddies from the limelight, paparazzi, and online trolls, it makes complete sense.

Mommy Nicki Minaj has also not shared too much of her little one, who will be turning one in September, on her social media platforms and has kept her mom-life very much to herself.

What we do know is that Nicki has shown off her #PapaBear (the affectionate nickname she's given her bundle of joy) a few times:

Including a recent video that shocked not only viewers, but Nicki and her baby daddy as well!

In the video, Nicki is joined by her family and she's speaking to the camera.

Talking in that voice one usually uses when addressing a baby, Nicki asks Papa Bear: "Papa, say me and mommy laughed at that. Booboo, what you doing? Say hi!" 

And she probably wasn't expecting any reply, when this happened:

HOW CUTE?!

After watching that, we're sure Nicki isn't the only one freaking out, especially looking at the comments.

We can all probably agree that the best part of that video, outside of Papa's first word, is the reaction faces of his parents.

We can't wait to hear baby Nicki's vocabulary grow. Who knows, he might just follow in his mother's very talented footsteps!
