Your wedding is supposed to be one of the greatest and happiest days of your life.

With all the effort that goes into planning the big day, you should be enjoying yourself and not fearing for your life.
But as we all know, a wedding can be an extravagant affair as well and some people will definitely take this opportunity to go all out and be the most extra they can possibly be.

And there is nothing wrong with that! It's your day so you do you.
Just make sure you don't die, or at least seriously injure, yourself before you get to live happily ever after.

One couple's wedding in Raipur, India almost kicked off with a disastrous start when their entrance failed.
The couple made quite a theatrical entrance, appearing on a stage with smoke machines going off, fireworks and other pyrotechnics.

They were even lifted 12ft (3metres) into the air on a flying swing!
But the wow factor soon turned into fear when the swing the couple entered on snapped and the couple plummeted to the floor.

The event management company responsible for the wedding ceremony have apologised for the incident and luckily no one sustained any serious injuries.
The couple only had a few minor injuries and were able to continue the ceremony 30 minutes later.

Talk about a dramatic start.
Luckily this means things can only get better from here!
