WATCH: Model accidentally discovers she's being stalked by man outside her house

Whether it's stalkers, burglars or any other type of intruder, these people are clearly doing something that they should not be doing while trespassing on property that does not belong to them.
While having your precious belongings stolen can be tough to deal with, the creepiest of all offences has to be stalking.
There are so many ways people can stalk someone without them ever finding out they're being followed or watched.

Luckily, one influencer stumbled across the discovery that she was being stalked by a strange and unfamiliar man.
Gustė Janušauskaitė, known as @gustejanus on TikTok, decided to share the video footage from her experience on the app and the video immediately grabbed everyone's attention.

Using a Ring doorbell system, which includes cameras, Guste was able to capture the moments this unidentified man was standing outside her bedroom window.
Initially, it was her mother who noticed the man's presence and she proceeded to call the police, who unfortunately weren't much help. The two of them had to take security measures into their own hands and moved the camera closer to her room where they caught him coming back multiple times.

What makes it even scarier is that her house is in a gated community, which means this man gained access in some way and he has also been paying attention to her schedule, as he knew exactly when she arrived home.
Once again, taking matters into their own hands, the two of them built a booby trap by tying a piece of rope between two trees. A week later, at 2 am, they heard the trap being triggered and the doorbell app showed that the stalker was outside her window.

Later in the series of videos, she gives an update as to what her living situation is, if the stalker has been dealt with, and if the authorities have been able to track him down:

Luckily, it now seems like Gustė can truly start enjoying her life, in private, and no longer live in fear of someone just lurking around.
Although she does keep pepper spray and a pocket knife on her wherever she goes, these were her final thoughts on the disappointing police response:
This is literally how women die, because nobody listens to us, and we are constantly in danger.
