We contacted Colin to get the inside scoop on what was going through his mind...
The weather makes everyone go to extremes in order to ensure safety and to get home as soon as possible but this Durban resident took it to a whole new level when he started canoeing home gently down the lane.

This video that has been circling through WhatsApp groups shows Colin Simpkins being spotted by a fellow resident commuting home.
Colin definitely raised some eyebrows to the few that were fortunate enough to capture him doing the rounds on his paddle and has sparked responses all around Durban by those who have seen this video.
This was definitely a video that brought a smile on our faces after a very hard day facing the severe weather conditions.
However, we still need to be vigilant with unpredictable weather changes ahead.
