WATCH: Grimes defends Elon Musk in creepy knife video using a TikTok trend
Updated | By Stacey and J Sbu
Seems like Grimes, just like any other regular social media user, can't resist a good TikTok trend.
We all know that Elon Musk and Grimes' relationship is anything but conventional.

Even apart, the two individuals are known for their eccentric behaviour, interesting opinions, and unorthodox life choices.
Some would just call them straight-up weird.

The South African billionaire and the artist did name their child X Æ A-12. And even though they have given us the explanation we had all asked for, we still don't get it.
Which we have just added to the Elon-Musk-Grimes list at this point.

They might seem like they are actually living in their own universe, and that could very much be their future, but they also do participate and enjoy the "regular" things we humans do.
Grimes, who regularly refers to herself as an elf, is very into social media and even has a thriving TikTok account.

While it's no surprise that she has also fallen for the appeal of the video app, what might shock you is the fact that she's even participating in TikTok trends!
Although you might not find her dancing like Charli D'Amelio or cracking jokes like some of the hilarious comedians on there, she has interpreted some of the trends in her very own, very unique way.

The latest one is the trend "is he hot or..."
You are encouraged to dance while filming and you list a couple of questions about your significant other to suggest if he's hot or something else.

There are many who have jumped on the trend before Grimes and some of the examples include "is he hot or is he just willing to watch 'Pride and Prejudice' with me?", "is he hot or do we just make cute kids together?", and "is he hot or does he just get along with my entire family?"
You get the idea.
The singer put a twist on the challenge by denouncing what she believes are common misconceptions about her boyfriend.

She even captioned the video: "Stop harassing me on this app over fake news and I am not my bf's spokesperson."
The list of questions pop up as the 33-year-old sits and pets her robotic dog while she goes from "is he hot or is he out to destroy big oil?' to 'is he hot or will he put the first human on Mars?'

None of these have been 100% proven so the verdict is still out.
Finally, the video seems to end with her pulling out what appears to be a knife and smiling at the camera. Creepy.

All in a day's work for this couple.
Will Elon be hopping on TikTok soon? We would love to see his dance moves. We've heard they are so great, they're out of this world!
