WATCH: Fiancé breaks leg while attempting to do chores for first time

We have a lot of questions about this one...
Nobody likes doing their chores but at some point in your life there comes a time where you can no longer avoid it.

Mopping, washing dishes, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, all that and more become a part of your adult routine.
That's what most of us are used to right?

Turns out there are some people who can go through life without having to lift a finger. How lucky?
And when they do decide to finally help out around the house, things go so terribly that they probably have a good excuse to never be involved in the housework again.

Like Nathan Marsh from Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales.
The 26-year-old was helping his fiancé Bethan with some cleaning around the house, which had been the first time she had ever asked him to do so, when he ended up severely injuring himself.

At first, Bethan did admit that when she found him in a "pile at the bottom of the stairs", she did think he was joking. He was tangled up in the vacuum cleaner's cord and couldn't move but she didn't think he was too injured and considered that maybe he was just trying to get out of doing his duties.
As she helped him to the sofa, it became clear that things were more serious than she thought.

He's made a complete recovery and Bethan says that she's put him back to work although he sticks to doing everything downstairs, like washing the dishes which he is apparently very good at.
It was very painful at the time. The bed rest was amazing and it's nice being back on the feet. It was amusing to have the street full of emergency vehicles. But I'm thankful for everything they have done and they handled the situation amazingly. Bethan had a list ready for me when I had to the all-clear!- Nathan Marsh
All's well that ends well!
Unfortunately, not even a broken leg can't get you a get-out-of-jail-free card for house chores forever.
