WARNING: Not for sensitive viewers - Python eats puppy in Inanda
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
Snake catcher Nick Evans was called to the Inanda Township this past weekend for what he thought was another snake capture rescue.
The call came in early on Saturday morning. This was not unusual for Evans, who is used to getting calls at all kinds of hours. What was different and unique this time was the admission from the homeowner who shared with Nick that the python that they had spotted outside their house "was eating the dog".
Upon hearing the news, Nick rushed out to pick up his friend, Nick Saunders, who would help him capture the snake. As soon as the two arrived on the scene, they were ushered inside the house where they were led to a window that overlooked where the python snake and dog were last seen.

The snake was lying on some grass, between a wall and a fence. It had sadly just finished its meal, It did not look like a big snake so it must have been a puppy that it had eaten.- Nick Evans
According to Evans, it is rare to catch a python that has just eaten. Nine out of ten times the python will regurgitate the meal. While Evans and Saunders carried the snake out, Nick shared that he could see the 'meal' wanting to come out.
Stacey and J Sbu managed to catch up with Nick Evans to chat about this gruesome discovery in Inanda. Listen below:
