You head to your local coffee spot and much like the viral videos you have been seeing on your feed, you ask your barista to surprise you.
It goes from desiring a unique surprise drink to utter failure.

Coffee reviewer, Kristen Alk, got the bright idea to try out the #surprisemedrink trend .
This trend puts the power in the employee's hands to pick a creative and possibly even off-menu concoction of their own making.
Many of these videos include rainbow sherbet frappuccinos and piping butter beer lattes.

This unlucky TikToker got a raw deal where the selection of ice water made for her. What a bummer!
This barista may not have "passed the vibe check", but here's to hoping she knows what to order then next time she goes.
