VIRAL: Rickshaw gets into water balloon fight and is overturned
Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
This did not end well...
A crazy moment that raises questions on Rickshaw safety when this group of kids decided to have fun by playing with water balloons.
This speeding rickshaw came to a sudden, skidding halt after a water balloon was thrown at it blocking vision, causing a distraction and resulting in an accident.
Watch below:
In our adolescence we have all done some questionable things such as dropping things from high buildings, throwing rocks into water and making weird faces at people while we're in a school bus.
However, this action was completely inexcusable when these kids endangered safety.
Yes the rickshaw should not have been speeding but throwing a moving object at an already risky vehicle is only cause for trouble.
The incident was captured on camera and the footage has since gone viral on social media.
The TukTuk is captured being hit by a water balloon whilst speeding and immediately the driver loses control.
The rickshaw overturns and continues to skid on the long road until it comes to a stop.
The instigators are seen fleeing the scene as quickly as that water balloon was thrown.

The auto-rickshaw was seen travelling at a fast pace with a significant number of people inside.
The incident was reported to the nearby police and is under investigation.
It was reported that three people including the auto driver has been injured in the accident and “immediate action would be taken against the culprits.”
This incident is one of many that we can relate to in South Africa.
It shows how one small action can lead to a butterfly effect on disaster.
Always remember to stay safe and vigilant when driving.
