Just when you thought news from a zoo couldn't get any wilder, this news starts circulating.
A priceless handbag was seized by UK border officials and handed to the London Zoo.
Instead of keeping this bag behind lock and key, the zoo decided to display this handbag in order to shed light on the heartbreaking issue of the exotic animal trade.

Since viewing this display, people have been utterly disgusted at how people treat animals and what we essentially value as human beings.
Visitors to London Zoo hoping to see an endangered Siamese crocodile instead saw a handbag made from its skin in a warning of the impact of hunting.

The illegal animal trade has clearly been showcased in one of the world's most established zoos.
This zoo is home to more than 3,000 animals confiscated by border police at the city's airports.
This might not be the end of the animal trade, but this powerful message will forever hold a space in our minds.
