The luxury of travel often comes with its own set of unspoken rules and etiquettes that help ensure a smooth and pleasant journey for everyone on board. 

Not so long ago, Carmen Reddy hopped on a flight where she was hit with a dilemma: to eat or not to eat a burger in the middle seat. The province weighed in with their diverse opinions but one thing was clear, air etiquette is a grey area.

As shared in the video above, there are so many unspoken rules when it comes to seating, but here are some tips for air travel in general:

  1. No cuts. Respect the line at boarding
  2. Don't be a nosy Nancy
  3. If headphones are on, do not bug the person
  4. Control your kids
  5. No taking shoes off
  6. Don't get up multiple times for unnecessary reasons if you are in the middle or window seat
  7. Thank the staff, always
