Birthday parties are supposed to be a time of celebration, filled with love and happiness. But sometimes the birthday ego can get the best of you and lead to some awkward situations...

Some people like to go overboard with their special day while others like it more low-key. No matter which you prefer, everybody does want to have a tiny bit of extra attention on this one day in the year.
And just like any other special occasion, no matter the size of the celebration, there is always the risk of trouble popping up. Whether it's a best friend stealing your shine, a family member ruining the moment, or an event planner making some major mistakes.

Stacey recently had a shock and horror moment when she attended a friend's intimate birthday dinner.

Here's what went down according to Stacey:
I was recently invited to an intimate birthday dinner party that was set up and organised by the birthday girl herself, so no surprise party vibes.
I had no say in the planning and putting together of this get-together but that is not what concerned me about this party. It is important for some context though so you better understand the issue at hand.

I had arrived at this bougie, fancy dinner (again - context) and we were enjoying ourselves, just a bunch of friends and family having a good time with the person they love.
But what happened after the evening had come to an end is what left me shooketh to my core. And I was not the only one that was caught off-guard.

Now I'm going to share my opinion on this whole situation but I just needed to find out if I am the only person who feels this way.
Like, am I wrong? Is it just my #UnpopularOpinion? I of course had to ask J Sbu and KZN what they think or am I just completely delusional.
