Here is a little fan girl fun fact guide about Uncle Waffles:
1. She's originally from eSwatini
She didn't have the easiest upbringing and was raised by her grandmother. The DJ never knew her parents and only much later was able to reconcile with her mother. She has since moved to South Africa and is now based here.
2. Her real name is Lungelihle Zwane
Contrary to popular belief, Uncle Waffles is not what is written on her birth certificate. She is also only 21-years-old.

Celebrity, unfortunately, does not only come with adoration from fans; at times you will have to deal with sinister rumours.
Uncle Waffles has come out to defend herself against rumours about her sexuality. She took to her Instagram stories to address the matter after pictures circulated online from the late Ricky Rick's Cotton Fest event.

When do you guys step back and evaluate? Why do you think conversations like these or saying things like these to strangers is normal? Social media has really made you all feel so entitled to s**t. Let's respect each other." You all are used to public figures having to keep quiet and be the bigger person and that being considered some sort of "maturity". That's made people on social media get away with being s**t individuals Where do you get the audacity to say things like this? Then go on and show your transphobia through it? I don't usually say anything, but now a whole community is getting affected. Please, it's important to learn when you're overstepping- Uncle Waffles
Now this is a clap back we are here for!
Commenting on someone's sexuality without their consent in any context is inappropriate - PERIOD!
