Recently, at the prestigious 2024 Skytrax World Airline Awards, our very own LIFT and South African Airways (SAA) captured the spotlight, cementing their places among the globe’s finest.

LIFT snagged the coveted title of the 'Best Low-Cost Airline in Africa' for 2024. This marks a remarkable achievement for the young airline, which has been operating for four years now.
Jonathan Ayache, CEO of LIFT, beamed with pride, expressing how thrilled the entire company is to receive their first-ever Skytrax Award. It’s a testament to their commitment to excellence and innovation in the domestic travel scene.
South African Airways (SAA) earned dual honours, securing the third spot for 'Best Airline in Africa' and proudly claiming the title of 'Cleanest Airline' on the continent.
These accolades reflect the airline's dedication to providing top-notch service and maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, from cabin panels to washrooms.
According to the ranking system, these were the Top 10 airlines in the World for 2024:
