Trevor Noah has us in hysterics... yet again!
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
Who knew that Trevor Noah as Margot Robbie in a bath tub talking about the stock market could be so entertaining?!
There has been an ongoing debate online about 'Game Stop' and its value. This after a group of amateurs from Wall Street Bets Reddit group bought a large amount of shares in the video game retailer.
Such was the record breaking and unprecedented soar in share prices, resulting in huge profits for the buyers and devastating losses for a number of hedge funds, many people have been scratching their heads trying to figure out how this happened.
So, where would one turn to for financial drama?
A movie, of course! Insert 'The Big Short', a movie about the 2015 Wall Street financial drama that also inspired the film, 'The Wolf Of Wall Street'.
Social media users have been beside themselves with a recreation of a scene from 'The Big Short' in which Trevor Noah takes the lead - front and centre.
In the original scene, which stars actress Margot Robbie - she explains the financial terms while sipping champagne in a bubble bath. In a clip shared on Noah's show, 'The Daily Show', on Twitter, the comedian gives his best explanation of the whole saga in the parodied scene.

In the hilarious clip, Noah's head is edited onto the clip of Robbie in the bath, with the South African comedian donning his best Australian accent, as he attempts to explain what happened at 'Game Stop' in the most simplest of forms...
Basically, there’s a group of people on Reddit who don’t use the stock market to bet, they use it to gamble, And yeah, that’s what a lot of serious investors do too, but these guys on Reddit are more honest about it and they love to troll the people who aren’t- Trevor Noah
The video was widely praised online by viewers who said the scene wasn’t just “hilarious”, but “actually a helpful explainer”.
We, ourselves, are still unclear on the matter but what we are certain of is that Trevor is hilarious!
