Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
This 24-year-old had been taking testosterone for nine weeks before they noticed a baby on the way.
Transitioning is the changing of one's physical characteristics from one sex to another.
So many challenges are faced on the regular with regards to bodily functions or complications, as well as the scrutiny or stigma from the public.
However, it was even more challenging for Ryan Sanderson when transitioning from female to male.

Ryan had been taking testosterone as part of the transition for nine weeks before realising he was pregnant.
This drama student was definitely in for a showstopper when the news was revealed.
Ryan Sanderson from Rochdale, Manchester was led to believe that his male ex was infertile and was unaware that transgender people could fall pregnant while taking testosterone.
"It was a huge shock to the system but even though I was worried about what coming off of testosterone may do to my body dysmorphia, I knew instantly that I wanted to have the baby," he said.- Ryan Sanderson
After putting a stop to his hormone treatment, Ryan had a complication-free pregnancy and welcomed son Hendrick two years ago.
Before undergoing "top" surgery, surgery where a complete breast removal occurs, he decided to nurse his baby.
This has inspired Ryan to hold off even further in case more children are on the horizon.
I believed it to be fate, I've never been a devout follower of religion, but I felt like it was a sign to have a child before I was in too deep with testosterone treatments. When I found out I was pregnant, Hendrick truly became my everything.- Ryan Sanderson
Ryan has expresses his complete gratitude for his child and had been lucky enough to not ignore the signs of pregnancy, especially during the vigorous transition process.
Ryan knew he was transgender from the age of seven and came out at 19.
"I'd struggled for so long to become my true self and had even had to go with a private GP in order to get testosterone," he said.
It was during a doctor's appointment that he discovered he was pregnant. After a successful birth, Ryan thanked his team of doctors and midwives.
Ryan has had such a wonderful journey so far and we wish his family all the best.
He mentions: "It's so great being Hendrick's parent, being a dad just feels right to me. I've had so many people stop me when I've been out and about with him that comment on me being a good dad, it just feels incredible. I'm finally the person I want to be, and I've got a mini-me to share that journey with."
