Three Brits in Italy have tested positive for COVID-19 seven times
Updated | By Stacey & JSbu
The three Brits, Rhys James, 23, Quinn Paczesny, 20, and Will Castle, 22, had been teaching English in Florence when they began to show symptoms and were taken to hospital. They have now been in isolation for over a month.
They haven't been able to leave the hospital because they need to first produce two consecutive negative tests 24 hours apart, doctors have said. Unfortunately for them, this hasn't been the case.

The young men have not shown any symptoms since 19 August, after going into isolation on the 17th of August. One of the specialists even suggested that none of the young men would likely spread the disease to others since their symptoms are invisible.
This has certainly left everyone confused as to why they are being 'held against their will', but we are definitely more confused as to why their results keep coming up as positive, even though they have been quarantined for more than they should have been.
The World Health Organisation guidelines say after 10 days of self-isolation, a person or patient can leave. The UK agrees with this policy, yet Italy does not.
The young men have also apparently been skeptical of the accuracy of the tests they have received while in Italy after being told of failings in the system leading to delays.
Hopefully a private facility will be able to assist the young men in due time.
