Stacey and J Sbu are opening up the conversation about our fridges...
There are some items that live in our fridges - and legend has it that these items may have even come with the fridge...

In honour of the items that have come and gone - and especially the ones that will stay until the end of time, we have made a list of things everyone in Mzansi has in their fridge:
1. Ice-cream container tupperware
This item is one of the biggest reasons that people have trust issues in Mzansi. You may think it's ice-cream, but when you open the container, it's yesterday's leftovers...
2. Condemned condiments
In life you might change up recipes when preparing food, but one thing is certain, there will also be old, unused sauces in the fridge.
Are you even South African if you haven't had condiments that have been held hostage in the crevices of your fridge for years?

3. Food that didn't quite cross the finish line
Whether it be a glistering slab of meat, lightly cooked pasta or raw chopped up veggies, there is always something in your fridge that could've, should've but just didn't.
If this is you, this is your sign to clean out your fridge, don't let it get nasty...
Last but not least,
4. Keys, cards, and your marbles
Stacey Norman recently made us aware of the fact that many a South African keeps something important in the fridge.
Reason being, you will always be able to find it as it won't get lost in the clutter around the house and, most importantly, you will never forget your lunch.
