#TheFixer: “'My partner does not want kids, is this a deal breaker?'
It's really hard being in a relationship with someone when they don't want the same things as you, especially when it concerns your future with them.
A lot of people think wanting to have children is a natural step that a couple should take, but not everyone actually feels the same way.

Bianca has been in a relationship with her boyfriend, who is significantly older than her, for about three years. He was married previously and has two kids from that marriage. When they started dating, he made it clear to Bianca that he didn't want to have any more kids and at the moment she was okay with it. But now her mind seems to have changed.

We were going out for 3 years and we had a lovely relationship. He always told me he didn’t want children. He said he felt too old and that he didn’t want to be chasing around after toddlers in his 50s. I somehow thought he would change his mind as time went on. After a heart to heart, I realized once and for all that it would never happen, so I made the very tough decision to break up with him in January. I still want children BUT I still love him so much. Will I get over it? Should I get back with him?
We don't choose who we fall in love with and how that person makes us feel, even though sometimes things seem not to be working out the way you would like them to.
