KZN, Gift of the Givers and East Coast Radio raised over R6.5 million to help those affected by the #KZNFloods
What an incredible day it has been!
Nothing prepared us for the #KZNFloods.... but nothing prepared us for how inspired we would feel after we called on KZN to help their fellow residents out.
Many people have tragically lost their lives, homes, and livelihoods.
Businesses have once again been left crippled.

As a province, KZN has been through so much in the past year, but every single crisis brings us closer together as a community.
As a province, we always have hope - nothing can break that.
East Coast Radio is partnered with Gift of the Givers and we called on corporates and the people of KZN those affected by the KZN Floods.
On 22 April, Darren Keri and Sky, Carol Ofori, Mike V, and Stacey and J Sbu broadcasted outside East Coast Radio House in Umhlanga.

We also opened up our phone lines to accept pledges and donations to help businesses and families who have been affected by the #KZNFloods.
And the response was beyond anything we could have ever imagine - all because of YOU, KZN!
We caught up with Dr Imtiaz Sooliman , the man behind the Gift if the Givers and our partners in our #KZNFloodRelief campaign.
Thank you to the Chinese Consulate for your generosity.
