Navigating the ever-evolving landscape of the corporate world can be difficult. Almost always, emotions often take a backseat to professionalism. 

The unwritten rule: Leave your feelings at the door. However, in recent times, there has been a growing conversation around the idea of crying at work.

In 2023, we hear of things from quiet quitting to silent protests, but how about wearing your heart on your sleeve? Today we chat about crying at work. 

Crying at work, undoubtedly, is an unpopular opinion. Many argue that the workplace is a space for productivity, not emotional expression. However, it's crucial to consider that employees are human beings with feelings, and sometimes those emotions can spill over into their professional lives.

So, who cares if you have a cry in the closet, a boardroom or a car... we've all secretly done it. Why make it taboo?

On the flip side, there are boundaries to consider. What if someone cried in the middle of a meeting or in front of their boss? Excessive or disruptive crying can hinder productivity and teamwork.
