This Starbucks order made one employee want to quit

Gone are the days of the simple "black coffee and milk" order!
Over the years, hot drinks like coffee and tea have become so much more.

It is no longer just a beverage but is almost a culture of its own.
Not only are restaurants and coffee shops becoming more adventurous with their creations, but they are also creating one-of-a-kind drinks that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

You can now find almost everything from mushroom coffee...
To alcohol flavoured coffee's.

One thing that's popularity has grown exceptionally over many and many years, are customizable coffee takeaway orders.
All thanks to a little coffee chain called Starbucks.
Now if you are not familiar with Starbucks, the basic concept is that you can either order a drink from a set menu or you can create your own drink from scratch by combining a bunch of different ingredients.

This sounds like fun, right?
Well, it might be a blast for the customer, but it's not as enjoyable for the poor barista who, quite regularly, end up having to create absolute monstrosities.

Starbucks baristas have also not been ashamed of sharing stories from their overflowing cups that are filled to the brim with horrendous customer encounters.
Most recently another Starbucks employee has revealed a coffee order so excruciatingly long and detailed that this person considered quitting their job:

It does seem like the order could be compared to the purchases of a child who had been let loose in a candy store with a bunch of cash.
Fellow baristas, coffee shop employees, and even other customers then started replying and sharing some of their coffee-related horror stories.
And honestly, we can't believe our eyes!

What has this Tweet taught us? If you want 15 pumps of syrup, just buy yourself a bottle of syrup and drink that.
If you want coffee, order a coffee.
