Stacey and J Sbu relive their hot air balloon experience that had an unexpected ending
What was meant to be the highlight of their #SweetEscape trip for Stacey and J Sbu turned into quite the frightening experience!
Stacey and J Sbu have had the opportunity to travel and experience the majestic beauty that our beautiful province has to offer with the #SweetEsape. This experience was made possible by Tourism KwaZulu-Natal and their campaign: #KZNHasItAll Believe It.

This past weekend, the duo went on an hour and half shot left to the Midlands. The team stayed at the beautiful Braham Hills Weddings, Events and Hotel Spa.
Whilst at Braham Hills, the team had the opportunity to do various activities.
The team paid Karkloof Canopy Tours a visit to do a guided zip lining tour in the Karkloof Forest Reserve, with views of a waterfall and the valley their backdrop.
The team also took a trip to Howick to go and visit the historic Mandela Capture site, a trip that was both emotional and educational.
There was also an opportunity to visit Endeavour Alpacas, which is a family-run business in the Midlands which gives the public an opportunity to interact and feed some Alpacas.
Stacey was in her element, whereas J Sbu decided to do the feeding from a distance.
Supporting local once again, the team also visited the Groundcover Leather Company, a family business located on a farm in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands of South Africa.
Groundcover is the expression of a lifelong passion for leatherwork and a search for a meaningful livelihood.
The highlight of the duo's #SweetEscape trip, however, was always going to be the hot air balloon experience at Hot Air Ballooning SA.
For J Sbu, this was going to be his very first experience on a hot air balloon, so despite the obvious nerves, he was excited.
Despite the early morning call, both Stacey and J Sbu were upbeat and ready to see the Midlands from an upper view.

Once the duo was on cloud nine, it was smooth sailing until it came time for them to land.
