South African women giving us POWER!
Updated | By Stacey & JSbu
In case you were unaware, Beyoncé dropped
her visual album this weekend and we are still not over it!
From the storytelling, cultural references, the music, outfits, hair, and celeb spotting, #BlackIsKing had viewers mesmerised from start to finish. The visual album featured a range of African artists and a few familiar South African faces which had us beaming with pride.
Noticeably, Nandi Madida, who is a media personality, singer, and actress, appeared in the visual album portraying Nala. Nandi looks radiant as a pink-haired beauty.View this post on InstagramA post shared by nandi_madida 🇿🇦 (@nandi_madida) on
The next artists featured in what can only be explained as an energetic, awe-inspiring collaboration is Busiswa and Moon Child. Busiswa is a singer-songwriter and poet who makes a mark during the song My Power in Black is King. The body positive artist also shocked fans recently with a major weight transformation while teasing the film.
