It's lights out in Mzansi this weekend
It's time to give an hour to the earth!
Earth Hour is an international event that occurs on Sat, Mar 25, 2023 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM and aims to celebrate our commitment to the planet.
As residents worldwide switch off their lights and smell the roses, Mzansi is joining in but this time by default.
Eskom has announced that stage 2 load-shedding will be implemented from 4pm on Saturday until 5am on Sunday when it will be suspended.

Mzansi has shed light on the matter and here's what they have to say "South Africa is out here being an overachiever", "Eishkom did it again" and last but not least "Earth hour, more like earth century for us."

Surely not, it’s only an hour... 👀
But what if this Hour inspires millions to act for 🌏, reminding us to make all other hours count? That could spark a world of change.
