Somizi has Mzansi talking after he tipped a waitress R600

It's that time of the year for giving to those that have less and to share love and kindness to everyone around you. For one trainee waitress, Christmas time has surely started off well for her.
Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung, the well-know show stopper, stopped by The Anti Social Social Club in Melville, Johannesburg, and he felt like giving away more than he should when he paid for the bill.

The well known SA Idols judge, author of the most talked-about cookbook after Dudzane signed it for him and reality TV star shared a picture of his slip on Twitter on Thursday. His order amount totalled to R378 but he settled the bill with R1 000. Imagine!

Somizi captioned the picture on Twitter, saying:

As you know, Twitter never sleeps, and while many praised him for making the waitress’s day, not everyone was happy Somizi shared his act of kindness on social media.
They accused him of showing off and even went as far as quoting a Bible verse to justify their feelings. How hectic?!

Surprisingly, Somizi did not respond to any of the hate he received from social media. He probably too busy giving away more money...
