Somizi clarifies whether or not he's dating again after abuse allegations

There are some new rumours Somizi has had to address...
The former 'Idols SA' judge has had quite the year.

It all started when his estranged husband, actor Mohale Motaung, made some very serious abuse allegations, which Somizi denied.
There were multiple claims being made, statements were posted on social media, and, eventually, it was confirmed that the two were in the middle of divorce proceedings which will be finalised fairly and reasonably.

Now the star is finding himself making headlines once again and he's ready to defend himself.
It was reported this week that Somizi is back on the dating scene and he has allegedly already moved on from Mohale.

But the man is having none of it, so he decided to address these rumours and shut them down quickly.
Somizi had been spotted hanging out with a childhood friend and the rumour mill reported that the two were romantically involved. He proceeded to take a screenshot of the report, posted it on Instagram, and wrote the following caption:
Eish no, things just got tense... i have been burdened... so im not allowed to be seen with any male... it means I'm still going to find mos some new loves... it's nice here by singlehood then... [sic].- Somizi

Somizi also apologised to his friend, who had very innocently been dragged into this and said:
askies my friend dont worry u will be replaced soon enjoy it whilst this new love lasts lol [sic]- Somizi
It seems like the influencer has made the wise choice to focus on more important things at the moment and is taking a break when it comes to all things love-related.
