Snake strikes at handler for taking her eggs
She was not at all happy about him taking her eggs...
Heads up, don't mess with a mother. Regardless of what species, mothers will always be there to attack if they feel their offspring are being threatened.
Jay Brewer is a reptile lover who also is part of the team at Prehistoric Pets, "a one-of-a-kind pet store in Fountain Valley, California specialising in exotic pets, such as snakes, lizards, and tortoises!"
In a video that was shared on the TikTok account, Overtime, we see him collecting a snake's eggs.
But even as familiar as he is with the reptiles and this particular snake, she is not happy with him taking her eggs and so, she begins striking at him.
It was just so shocking to see how chilled he was even after being struck by the female snake. After seeing more videos with him, we realised it was not his first time being struck.

Check out the video below of him getting bitten on the face because he didn't want to drop this snake's eggs.
He explains that he takes the risk of being bitten because he wants the snakes eggs to hatch, otherwise there is a slim chance of them hatching.
