Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
That's it, we're moving!
A TikToker in Durban recently shared a video that has caused quite a stir online. The video shows a snake peering out of the overflow in his bath, a sight that would leave anyone’s jaw on the floor.
Tim Dunkley captured the moment he noticed the snake's unexpected appearance. In the video, the thin serpent is seen making its way out of the overflow drain of the bathtub. Tim ensured he kept his distance from the reptile.
Before the end of the clip, the snake quickly slithered its way back into the overflow and Tim has yet to post an update.
Locals were beyond stunned at this occurrence, with many under the impression that this clip was recorded in Australia. Tim made sure to comment that this was indeed recorded in Durban!

Encounters with snakes are not uncommon in Durban but finding one in your bathtub is undoubtedly an unusual and frightening experience.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of being aware of our surroundings and knowing how to safely handle encounters with wildlife.
