Famous country singer turned pop star, Taylor Swift, has been the centre of attention on many occasions, but who knew it would be for a new millipede?!
A millipede is a group of arthropods that are characterised by having two pairs of jointed legs on most body segments.
Despite having 200 songs to her name, she is now happy to announce that there is a whole creature named after her.

The species is called Nannaria swiftae, also known as the Swift Twisted-Claw Millipede.
This begs the question, if you could have an animal named after you, what would it be?
As we all know, J Sbu can already be a beast on the decks when he DJs, however, Stacey stated that she would love to have a cat named after her.
