'Sheets hit the fan': Here's how often KZN washes their bed sheets!

With the latest Durban weather coming in hot, much debate has been sparked from this question of "how often do you change your sheets?"
Reports show that most people only wash their sheets a few times a month, while some men only do it every four months.
While most wash it more regularly than that, it is completely mind-blowing to hear how long people will go without washing their sheets.

A few months ago we had a look at a survey of how often men wash their sheets:
A study conducted in the UK proves how on average single-men only wash their sheets every four months and to make things even grosser, 12% say that they only wash their sheets when they remember.
J Sbu shared his thoughts on the matter, saying that he washes his sheets as frequently as possible and agreed to washing his sheets on a weekly basis.

Now the question on all our minds is what would actually happen if we simply don't wash out sheets at all?

According to the video above, bacteria, fungus, dust mites, skin cells etc. will build up in your bed. Our body sheds around 15-million skin cells, which build up if you don't wash your sheets often.
