The news doesn't stop there. Rihanna may be receiving lots of love but for Drake, it's the complete opposite.

Hundreds of fans have taken to Twitter to share what they think fellow artist Drake thinks about the situation.

According to fans, this news cuts deep for Drake as he now realises that he has zero chance of ever being romantically involved with his long-time crush.

Drake's history with Rihanna goes back years when they first met in 2005. The pair would tease about a potential romance sparking between the two over the years.

Their story took a turn when Drake publicly professed his love to Rihanna when presenting her with the Vanguard Award in 2016. This left Riri completely flustered in front of millions.

A few years down the line and we find that the two are no longer involved in each other's lives.

Rihanna told Vogue in 2018: "We don't have a friendship now, but we're not enemies either. It is what is it."

Since the announcement Drake has been trending all over Twitter and we just can't get enough of these memes...

Others have taken to Twitter to drop some bars on what they think will be coming up in some future Drake songs.
