A London lady tries South African delicacies and here's how it went.
South African delicacies are currently under the spotlight after a London gal gave it a taste and shared her thoughts to TikTok.
She tried out a variety of treats that were available in the area. Many argue that some were not perfectly replicated however you can agree that they are definitely inspired by Mzansi.
As seen in the video below, TikTok user @polkadotpassport, started her day with pap porridge, then she made a bunny chow, snacked on some biltong, ate Mrs Balls chutney and then ended off with a restaurant meal. Watch below:

Here's what SA had to say when they caught wind of this food enthusiast:
- "You were scammed sis. Most of the meals you ate have 0% in common with our meals."
- "Haai shame, that pap is different."
- "As a South African, I feel like that dessert is not South African."
- "We don't actually eat Kudu babes"
- "How are tacos South African"
- "Why...why did you put syrup in mieliepap?"
- "braaied broccoli!?"
- "When I saw you with a spoon eating a bunny, I almost had a fit,"
As you can see, this eating journey clearly rubbed SAFFAS the wrong way.
