The 'oldest woman in the world' is right here in South Africa!

Life after 100? Here's a real life example from South Africa's OG.
This just in, Johanna Mazibuko is unofficially the world's oldest woman and perhaps the world's oldest person.
According to her ID document, she was born in 1894 - this making her 128 years old.
Johanna was born on a maize farm in Ottosdal, however, she now lives in Joubertan, Klerksdorp.

She moved to Jouberton when she got married and she had seven children. Two out of her seven children are still alive today. Her surviving children are 81 and 83 years old.
Johanna has also lived through it all, as she has survived the Spanish flu, apartheid, COVID-19 and two world wars. What a legend!

Johanna rarely gets sick and states that her long life is courtesy of never having consumed alcohol and sticking to her traditional Tswana diet of samp, pap, pumpkin, and watermelon.

Johanna has a lot to live for and she is living proof that a healthy, well-balanced lifestyle can lead to a long and significant life.
Her wise advice to youngsters is that they should always respect their parents and their elders.

A person named OJ Madikong is headstrong on getting Johanna recognised in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest person in the world.
