My ex's new wife hates that I am best friend's with her mother in law
Updated | By Stacey and J Sbu
The end of a relationship is never easy. Not only does one lose a partner whom they envisioned forever with, but there are other relationship causalities.
When you create a life with someone, you get to not only know and love them, but also those who are nearest and dearest to them. Relationships and bonds are formed that may at times last longer than our romantic relationships.
Such is the case in this week's edition of #TheFixer with Stacey and J Sbu.
#TheFixer is a feature on Stacey and J Sbu's show in which the duo gives KZN listeners an opportunity to share their dilemmas that they seek advice on. Together with the help of fellow KZN listeners, Stacey and J Sbu try to help the concerned party fix their problem.

This week, the team received a voice note from KZN listener, Mereshen, who is in a predicament with her ex's new wife. According to her, she and her ex had an amicable break up where there were no hard feelings.
During their relationship, Mereshen formed a close relationship with her ex's family, so much so that she says she considers her ex's sister one of her closest friends to date.
In a more complex matter and the reason for her reaching out to the show, Mereshen shared that she is extremely close with her ex mother-in-law.

Mereshen and her ex's mother are not only still in contact, the two women are in fact the best of friends, which makes the current and new wife of her ex very uncomfortable.
Listen as she shares her story, in her own words below:
Mereshen constantly attends family events which makes the wife of his ex partner unsettled. The two ladies have already had an altercation with regards to Mereshen's relationship with her man's family.
What are your thoughts, KZN?
Do you think it is inappropriate for an ex to have such a close knit relationship with a family member after a break-up?
