"My boyfriend's 'kids' are causing tension in our relationship"
Updated | By Stacey and JSbu
Dating is hard enough as it is and we all know that when you add kids into the mix, that complicates or changes things drastically.
Friend of the show, Tumelo, is blissfully in love with her boyfriend of two years.
They are planning on settling down in a year and to eventually start their own family. However, it is Tumelo's 'other family' that seems to be causing some tension in their relationship.

Tumelo's boyfriend dated a woman with two children before they started their courtship. According to Tumelo, her boyfriend says that he is and was the only father figure his ex's children have ever known. Even though his romantic relationship with the mother may have ended, Tumelo's boyfriend not only maintains a relationship with the kids, but takes care of them financially.
This is where Tumelo and him are at loggerheads. Stacey and J Sbu hear from her in this week's edition of #TheFixer.
#TheFixer is a feature on Stacey and J Sbu's show in which the duo gives KZN listeners an opportunity to share their dilemmas that they seek advice on. Together with the help of fellow KZN listeners, Stacey and J Sbu try to help the concerned party fix their problem.

Listen as she shares her story in her own words below:
An honest Tumelo candidly shares that her strong feelings towards this situation have nothing to do with her being jealous or thinking that her boyfriend may be having a relationship with his ex.

She just does not understand why he still has to remain in contact with the kids who are not his biologically and take care of them financially - she would like him to cut ties altogether.
Do you believe that Tumelo is being unfair to her boyfriend?
Stacey and J Sbu put it out to KZN to share their views on the matter and the solicited comments were both unfiltered and honest.
