MUST SEE: Local designer creates epic outfit using only Woolworths bags

Over the last few years, thanks to climate change, the human race has realised that they do not have to keep buying new plastic bags every time they go to the shops.

Many stores have completely gotten rid of plastic bags, replaced them with paper bags or created their own reusable bags.

But no matter how eco-conscious you are, every now and again you might forget your reusable grocery bag at home. It's okay, it happens to the best of us.

Fashion designer and brand owner Bhungane Mehlomakhulu might have found a solution.

With his latest design, which has caught the attention of thousands of Tweeps, Bhungane took your average Woolies grocery bag and found another use for it.

Although you'll look fire in your new fit, you might have some issues finding a way to carry your shopping items. But this design is so good you'll completely forget why you actually went to the store in the first place.

Bhungane Mehlomakhulu is a designer in Cape Town and is the creative director of the brand Bhumehl Fashion, a brand that focuses on creating narrative-based, androgynous clothing.

What makes his beautiful designs even more impressive is that Bhungane is entirely self-taught.

While he does use fabric for many of his designs, he also has a great passion for recycling paper and plastic and turning it into something completely new and, of course, fashionable.
