Updated | By Stacey & JSbu
Minnie Dlamini has everyone on social media shocked after she posted a picture with buntu knots and her caption was, "I can go from lady to ghetto in a second".
Twitter has been on a buzz since Minnie Dlamini proclaimed that having buntu knots basically means you are ghetto.

People are not having it. They feel disrespected and even looked down up on just because of their choice of hairstyles. It is bad enough that the country has been going through a very difficult time in terms of GBV, Black Lives Matter movements, and just a lot of hate towards women.
Now Minnie Dlamini comes and degrades a black woman's hairstyle by calling it ghetto. It definitely touched a lot of people.
To be quite honest, not only is this hairstyle powerful and represents our true nature and how beautiful we can be in different styles, it is also the only protective hairstyle that grows my hair! #MINNIE embrace your natural self boo!- @VisagieGail
#MINNIE The level of disrespect and disappointment towards Minnie for labeling our hair as Ghetto is pathetic. She should really never forget we’re her bread was buttered from. BLACK HAIR IS NOT GHETTO REPEAT AFTER ME- @AShudufhadzo
Buntu knots are definitely not "ghetto", they are beautiful, classy, and natural. Let's hope for Minnie's sake she realises her mistake and lets the public know what she actually meant when she made that statement.
