Imagine being married to the love of your life for 79 years! This, ladies and gentlemen, is the longest love story ever and it has been officially recorded by Guinness World Records!
This beautiful Ecuadorean couple - Julio Cesar Mora Tapia, 110, and Waldramina Maclovia Quinteros Reyes, 104, have broken the record of becoming the oldest married couple in the world. This is definitely not the easiest record to break, a lot of married couples would definitely agree to this.

The couple met at a very young age when Reyes visited her older sister during one of the school holidays - and Cesar lived in the same building! What in the match dot com?!
The couple fell head over heels for each other and without holding back, seven years into their relationship they made a decision to tie the knot in a private ceremony without their families, as they did not approve of their relationship back then. The 1940s was definitely a tough crowd to sell, especially if the families thought they were too young to marry.
The couple are both teachers and have had five beautiful children, all of whom have been educated and earned their university colors and degrees. The couple, being teachers, definitely had an impact on their children's education, because they believe that education is the bases for everything.
"Promoting education allowed us to map out a route for all generations of our great family,” they said.
The couple have managed to grow their family with a full number of 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. Wow, now that's a huge family!
The couple feel they have come this far in their marriage due to the fact that they believed that for a marriage to work, values such as love and mutual respect have to take center stage.
The couple has been officially named in the Guinness World Records as the oldest married couple in the world! Wow!
