'The Love Trap': The dating show that's 'The Bachelor' meets 'The Hunger Games'

If you're a fan of reality television and dating shows, you're going to love this!
Love it or hate it, you've probably been subjected to your fair share of 'The Bachelor' or 'The Bachelorette' drama and you probably know more about it than you wish you did.

So let's not lie, everyone has a trashy reality television show that's their guilty pleasure.
And this show might just be our new favourite!

Let's start with how the show works:
David Birtwistle, a 34-year-old personal trainer, is an eligible bachelor looking for love.
There are 12 women who have signed up to try and woo David into falling in love with one of them.

The first plot twist? Only six of these women are single, whereas the other six are in relationships and they have just entered the show with the hopes of winning the £20,000 prize money.
David has to figure out who is real and who is fake.

While this is quite different from your conventional dating shows, what really caught everyone's attention was the way with which contestants are eliminated from the show.
At the end of the episode, David has to choose between three women and eliminate one of them.

Not only were viewers shocked, but it seems like the contestants, David, and even the host were all a bit caught off-guard by the sudden floor pit opening.
